The dramatic sleeve is, in my opinion, one of the easiest ways to add a little flair to a simple outfit. The exaggerated detail and silhouette feels super current and I love that it’s a trend that anyone can pull off! It’s also a great way to update your wardrobe for the fall season because it’s super versatile and works for both casual and night out looks. This gingham dramatic sleeve, off-shoulder top from City Chic is the great example of an accessible way to wear the trend! While I love it tucked into a faux leather skirt, I think this top would be equally adorable paired with cuffed jeans and flats or sneakers for some daytime fun. Since I wanted to dress the top up a bit and make it more autumnal, I decided to style it with this quilted faux leather skirt from Rachel Roy Curvy. The quilting detail is so chic and I love the zip detail with ring pull!
These heeled booties were a must for me–I love the cute bow detail at the back, and a blush pink clutch felt like the perfect addition for a pop of color! I decided to let the sleeves be the star of this outfit and kept my jewelry to a minimum, but for a dressier look, I think this outfit would look great with a pair of earrings like these or a couple simple rings!
What do you guys think of the dramatic sleeve trend? Is this a look you would wear for fall?
