I thought it would be really fun to share what I’ll be wearing to survive the heat wave while still looking cute this July 4th weekend! My beat-the-heat essentials always include shorts and a tank top, but I love throwing on a “third piece” or something to add a little color and interest to the look! One of summer temps. This version from Simply Be is the perfect holiday weekend topper with its super bright colors and fun mix of patterns! I love that the sleeves look great rolled up or left down, adding more versatility to the outfit. This would make a great swim cover up, too!
The shorts and tank are also from Simply Be, and they’re definite summer wardrobe staples. The shorts have an updated raw hem, which I love and think is such a chic detail, and the top is the perfect breezy material for hot days!
I topped off the look with some simple summery heels and a bag that can fit everything you need for the entire day, from pool party to nighttime fireworks!
