VACATION STYLE - Curvy Girl Chic

Hello my loves! I’m very much in the spring swing of things, and definitely have vacation on the brain! I haven’t stopped looking at flights, destinations, and staycation ideas–I definitely have the travel bug! What that translates for me fashion-wise is definitely a lot of colors, breezy fabrics, and playing with shapes and prints!

This stripes-on-stripes look is entirely from Simply Be, and I’m kind of obsessed! I’m not typically a fan of pants, but the super wide leg style is almost skirt-like, which I’m really loving right now. The fabrication is also super breezy, making them so comfortable to wear! I can’t tell you how many compliments I’ve gotten on these pants already–they’re a crowd pleaser for sure!

Since there’s no better time to experiment with fashion than on vacation, I opted to go all out with the stripes with this striped, tie-waisted top. I love the way the tie gathers the top and creates an almost flared effect–so chic! When mixing prints, it can be difficult to get the right mix of colors and patterns, so a no-brainer way of styling the trend is to stick with a similar color palette and pattern style. I love the way this turned out!

When I travel, I always carry a ton of stuff with me, so I opted for this bright, embellished floral tote bag, which is roomy enough for beach towels, a camera, a bottle of water, and all the essentials! For shoes, I opted to keep it simple in a pair of low-heeled rose gold sandals. Love the way this look came out!
