I’m always on the hunt for budget-friendly plus size clothing that’s trend-driven, so when Curvy Sense reached out about styling a few pieces and reviewing their products, I was more than happy to!
This slouchy sweater is my favorite item from this review! The lace up shoulder is so killer, and the slouchy cut with vents is such a chic detail. I’ve also already worn this skirt several times–I love it with a white tee and my black leather moto jacket. So perfect! I love that it’s a true mini length. Most plus size retailers opt for midi length skirts, so this was a fresh departure for me!
For this look, I opted for distressed jeans in a dusty rose hue, and this super slouchy, striped dolman sweater. The jeans are a great fit, and this is coming from someone who usually has problems with pants! The distressing is perfectly placed, and the color is gorgeous for spring. The sweater is a great comfortable, everyday item–a perfect spring basic as well!
This third look is probably the most out-of-comfort-zone for me since I don’t typically wear bodycon dresses but the sparkly embellishments were enough to convince me to give this dress a try! I love the sparkly details so much–they pick up so much light but aren’t over the top. This blazer is also a classic piece, and I love how it looks draped over shoulders for a date night look. If you’re in the market for a sexy but classy going out dress, definitely check this one out!
