After a nightmare 40 hour travel time, I’m finally back from Nashville! 😀 We had such an amazing time at CMAFest, and I couldn’t think of a better way to commemorate our trip there with than with an Americana-inspired look!
There really is nothing better for a music festival than a t-shirt and denim shorts! And just in time for Independence Day, Kohl’s has a bunch of patriotic pieces perfect for summertime festivities! I love this flag-print shirt–it’s Americana without being too kitsch, and I love that the curved hem helps show off a great pair of shorts!
I kept my accessory pairings on-theme with a fringed crtossbody (LOVE the way it swishes around when you walk!) and a long tassel necklace. A western-inspired ankle boot is both on-trend and easy to walk in!

BTW, Kohl’s has launched their Simply Vera Vera Wang line for plus sizes! New pieces are being added regularly, but this top is one of my current faves!
