Because sequins and faux fur shouldn’t just be reserved for night time!
The holidays may be over, but that doesn’t mean I’m ready to put my faux furs and sequins away! I love wearing something sparkly for daytime–it’s such an easy way to take an otherwise simple outfit up a notch!
I actually can’t believe how long I’ve had some of these pieces (I think I first posted this skirt in 2010!) and the blazer has been a staple in my work wardrobe for a couple years now. I’m getting ready to do some major spring cleaning/purging of my closet and just bought The Life-changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing. It’s a NYT bestseller all about only keeping items that bring you joy. So excited to read it and get started with my annual, pre-Chinese New Year closet clean-out! 😀

lol! I used to sell some of my pieces on curvygirlshop.blogspot.com but ran out of time to post. Now almost everything goes to Goodwill!
omg I hate going to these places but only because of childhood memories, the smell and the time it takes to search, but i might have to drag myself there despite it all.

Ah, I posted a look with fur today too! I love this look on you. And I am working on a closet clean out. It is still a work in progress, as most things in life. (Yes, I know you saw me shopping an estate sale today on IG!, in my defense I was looking for vintage home decor for my biz and this one took me off guard. Hehe!)
