I’m sure by now you guys have figured out that I’m a dress girl, so it should come as no surprise to you that the summer season and its accompanying summer dresses are right up my alley! So when Simply Be reached out to me about picking a couple to style for you guys, I jumped at the chance! Whether your style is girly, boho, or chic and refined, I’m sure you’ll find the perfect addition to your seasonal wardrobe. Last I checked, they have over 700 styles online! After some serious deliberation, I opted for two styles that I think showcase summer style perfectly.
The first look is this gorgeous bright yellow floral dress with a cold shoulder and ruffle hem! I love the attention to detail–the ruffle is so cute, and I really like that the placement is a bit different than anything else I have in my closet. I also don’t normally opt for yellow, but I loved this bright, summery shade too much to pass on it. It’s such a happy shade! 🙂 I styled this dress for a day out with a girly pair of denim heels, a bamboo bag, and some simple drop earrings to bring out the blue in the floral print. I’d imagine this dress would look just as amazing with big sunglasses and a wide-brim straw hat, for a truly vacation-ready vibe, too!
The second look is perfect for my preppy-meets-boho girls! This mirror trim smock dress is so much fun–I’m in love with the colorful embroidery details, and the tassels are the perfect finishing touch! I paired the dress with orange slides to bring out the orange in the embroidery, and opted for my bright tassel earrings as well, but I think this would look amazing dressed down with white sneakers and a white backpack for a trip to a theme park or festival.

Simply Be, or Simply Beautiful? The latter describes you here with this first outfit. That yellow dress and those blue sandals are lovely. I am not as fond of the 2nd outfit as much, but I think this light blue dress with very nice. Adorable smile and hairstyle in both outfits.
