STRIPES THREE WAYS WITH AVA & VIV

Curvy Girl Chic Plus Size Fashion Blog Target Ava & Viv 3 Striped Outfit Ideas

My favorite (and in my opinion, most versatile) pattern, styled three ways for spring!

I’m sure by now you all know just how much I love stripes. The sheer number of striped tops in my arsenal would put a sailor to shame! 😉 In this post, I’ve partnered with Target Style to style a few striped pieces from their new plus size line, Ava & Viv!

For the first look, I wanted to go with something simple but fun. A striped dress in a bright hue is perfect for a backyard barbecue, brunch with the girls, or when dressed up with heels and a clutch, even a casual spring wedding! I kept the look simple with a couple of my go-to accessories–a bright and cheery clutch and a simple necklace to add a little sparkle!

For my second look, I wanted to share one of my absolute favorite trends for spring–pattern mixing! This striped blazer is the perfect piece for trying the trend out–just pair it with a floral top and skinny jeans you probably already have in your closet, and voila! Look complete! If you don’t already have a floral top on your closet, this breezy layered top (also from Ava & Viv!) is a great option to add to your spring rotation.

For my last look, I wanted to take the stripe-love up a notch! Instead of just pattern mixing, I figured, why not go bold with stripes on stripes? In multiple colors, a stripe-on-stripe look could skew busy or overwhelming, but in classic black and white, this striped blazer and dress combination is chic and pulled together. Just grab your fits-your-entire-life bag, slip on some heels, and you’re ready to battle the day looking polished and on trend!

These are gorgeous and I'm planning my US trip so I'll have to schedule in a shopping trip at Target to pick some things up. I love the blazer and the floral top.

I really can't pick a favorite look-outfit! They are all so cute. I just love Target's plus size clothes! Think I might like the black Ava and Viv black dress the most, especially with that blazer. <3
