It’s solidly in the 80’s this week so I’m doing about all I can to not skip work and head straight for the beach with straw bags full of beach goodies! I feel like I’m usually a little “meh” about the weather heating up because the heat usually makes me want to hide in an air conditioned room, but I definitely want to get out an enjoy the pool and beach right now! That might be because we honeymooned in Singapore and it was 95 degrees with 95% humidity so this dry desert heat feels like a dream. xD

Anyway! I’m allll about the resurgence of straw bags in all shapes and styles this season! These cute round options have been a favorite of mine, and when I came across Ame Studio on Instagram, I knew I had to order a couple items. Her pieces are sourced from local artisans in Asia, and I love supporting fellow bloggers/business women! Her straw bags are super reasonably priced, too. The only downside is that the items ship from Singapore, so delivery felt like it took ages. Also, this bag is a bit like a picnic basket so it isn’t the most convenient if you need to get stuff out of your bag often, but it’s definitely cute!
