The holidays may be over but that doesn’t mean you need to store away all your sequins and sparkle!
It’s always tough getting back into the swing of things after the holidays–the parties are over, people go back to their busy schedules, and it can feel like nothing fun is ever going to happen again. Wait. Was that dramatic? Can you tell I’m in a post-party slump?
All the more reason to keep your party clothes out! I had every intention of wearing this dress out for New Years Eve, but when I read that the temps would be in the 40’s, I totally chickened out. 😛 No matter! I busted it out the next week so it could have it’s time in the limelight! I kept it simple with my trusty leather jacket and little else.

Love it – love how the leather jacket tones down the sequins and makes them workable during the day!
Quite fun sequin dress here along with the pretty pumps. The leather jacket toughens things up (not that this outfit needs to be toughened). This still remains an awesome outfit. Pretty smile and hairstyle, by the way.
