Time for vacations, beaches, pools, and sun–aka SWIMSUIT SEASON! *cue creepy Jaws music*
For curvy women, finding sexy, chic swimwear can be quite the daunting task. Retailers seem to think we want to cover ourselves with as much fabric as possible, and only go out in black. While I’m all for black swimsuits (goes with everything, and looks awesome with gold jewelry!) I can’t stand the idea that plus-size women should cover up as much as possible in public. Every woman should get the chance to flaunt her curves in a sexy swimsuit with a smile and a ton of confidence! 😀

I own numbers 5 and 9, and loooove them!! The Miraclesuit has an underwire which I can DEFINITELY appreciate (no possibility of slippage when I’m at the beach or swimming at the pool!) and the Monif C. suits are just about the most original, gorgeous suits available in plus sizes. I’m seriously contemplating picking up the Asos Corsage Swimsuit as well–I love the little flowers that line the neckline! Also, that Moroccan print suit from Evans is taunting me in the best way possible. All I want to do is wear that suit with super tall wedges, a floppy hat, and a sheer sarong.
All while laying out on a gorgeous beach somewhere far, far away.

I bought the #1 in red polka dot… you can buy it cheaper on esther-william's website… esther-williams.com or something, she designed the suits for Modcloth.
i think I may buy the #4 from ASOS.
yesss to the forever 21 #3 and #9 i remember that from last season but i never got it because i thought it was too costly..:( well i think its worth it now!

I love your choices! I love #9 & #2. I purchased a Monif C. swimsuit this year, the Monaco in black, and I really wanted to purchase more but had to reign myself in. Once I receive the Monaco and know if it fits, I might have to get #9.

Here in Australia, I buy jets swimmers. They're amazing quality and go up to an australian size 18. They're more on the expensive side (between AUD$120-200) but so worth it if you're wearing them for a few years!
I really love Monif C's suits and I am saving my pennies for one right now! I bought a great suit from torrid in February that I love. Leopard print! So much for trying to be inconspicuous at the beach! Love it! I'm gonna rock it all summer long. I did a swimsuit post too back in February. I also have an issue with finding a great bathing suit because of my chest. I usually have to pay a lot more for a suit to actually cover and provide support for them! I typically buy mine from Victoria Secret!

I have the #4 aka the asos swimsuit and it's really lovely. The flowers are cuter in real and it have good support. You should go for it.
I love the #9 too but i can't afford Monif C so i will have to dream about it haha

Ok, this is the most unlikely place (at least for me), but…Walmart. Seriously. I got a link from another blog (can't remember which), for a swimsuit that I hated, but luckily I had ordered 2, and I LOVE the second one. It's "Suddenly Slim by Catalina – Women's Plus Solid Shirred Swimsuit". I got it in red, and it came a few days ago. Seriously gorgeous, I feel like a pinup in it! Try it! I am now going to order the other colors…lol
