I’ve been seeing red everywhere recently! Whether it’s head to toe red, fire-engine accessories, or crimson separates, it’s a color that’s been all over the internet. I was a bit wary as I don’t typically wear bottoms that are brightly colored, buuuuut, when I saw these on sale for $12, I just had to try them out! I’m glad I did because I love how the look turned out, though I want to find a cute pair of strappy wedges to rock with these to make the look more summery! Will have to wait until my shopping ban is over though! haha. Guess the moral of the story is to try out different looks, even if you’re not sure it’ll work on you!
I’m also wearing the American Rag top I got on suuuper sale from Macy’s. As you’ll see in my next post, it’s quite the staple in my closet! I love the flowy, breeziness of the cut. 😀

I love red! One of my best friends had red pants a couple years ago, and I would steal them and wear them occasionally. I think they ended up in some sort of rotation between everyone in our group because they were so great. Lucky thing we were all the same size! I love this lace top, too- American Rag is so great.

Oh, I'm so jealous. I've wanted these pants forever, but they just didn't fit me right. But, I'm nothing if not determined so I'm actually going to be dying some of my other pants a nice bright poppy. I love them and I love how you styled them.

I LOVE that top! And I agree about trying new things. My sisters have convinced me to try on outfits I didn't think would look great and I've gotten a million complements on them. I never really was in to bright bottoms either. I'm a bit tall and hippy so I tend to stay clear of them. Now I'll have to give them a try just to see.
