FALL DENIM TRANSITION LOOKS

Without a doubt, the reintroduction of denim into my wardrobe signals the coming of fall! This year, though, I’ve been looking for styles with a bit more detail and distressing than I usually go for. Frayed hems, worn knees, and lived-in fits have the benefit of being super comfortable, and stylish at the same time! This pair from maurices is from their KanCan™ line, which includes a ton of different styles, and focuses on trend-forward styles at an affordable price point. The plus styles are available up to size 24W! I love the asymmetrical, frayed hem, which is perfect for those of us with shorter inseams, as well as for showing off a perfect pair of boots! The jeans are super comfortable and stretchy but still feel like they’re holding you in at the waist and hips.

I styled the jeans casually for late summer with a slouchy, leopard colorblock tee and I love it! This look is perfect for mild summer days and can easily be layered for cooler weather. For my fall transition look, I paired the jeans with a super soft white tee, this lightweight, leopard print anorak, and braid detail ankle boots! The jeans could also be dressed up with a fun top and heels, or worn as lounge wear with a cute cropped hoodie and a pair of sneakers if that’s more your vibe!
