I’ve put this top on about 6 times since I’ve purchased it and always changed out of it before leaving the apartment. As  many of you guys know, I’m not really a bright floral-y person. Especially not this bright. Nor this floral-y. Anyway, I decided to finally balls up today and wear it out! 🙂 It’s really one of those articles of clothing I’m not so sure I love, but at $15, I can stand experimenting with it a little–I’m thinking it would look way better with some shorts and white shoes when weather finally permits again, or some more white to pick up the white in the background of the floral. We’ll see! If all else fails, I’ll just dye it black! lol.
What do you guys think? $15 well spent or should I have saved it for something cuter?
Yours, Etc.

P.S. The bf and I did this crazy scavenger hunt thing (I WAS SOOO WINDED FROM THE RUNNING! time to cut back on the unhealthy food lol…) JetBlue had going on in Boston today–and got free roundtrip tickets to anyone of their destinations out of Boston! Anyone have a good trip idea??? 🙂

I bet this would be unbearable adorable with some little shorts. Maybe you could wear a blazer over it if you wanted to tone down the florals? Then you'd just have a pop of florals peeking through!

Silly, you look gorgeous! I got the same top but the darker flowery one, wore it before…maybe you saw it? maybe you should get that one if you don't feel comfortable wearing bright flowery. BUT!!! I love this top on you! the combo and everything looks great! 😀

I just went to H&M yesterday and saw that tunic for 13 bucks. Like you, I'm not a floral-y person so I didn't look. But it looks good on you, can't wait to see you try them with white shorts.

I saw that top on Saturday when I was out with Tiff of Fat Shopaholic…She has the same one, but she hasn't worn it yet either. It is quite bright but I think you wore it well! I would probably opt for the similar top but in black…but then again, floral prints scare me! lol

I'm like everyone else… Florals are not my thing, but lately I have been drawn to them. You can only see something so much before you start to like it. I actually bought two floral pieces from H&M yesterday… my first. I am thinking of ways to make them my own like adding things to play down the bright fru-fru ness. I think this top looks cute on you and when the hot summer hits it will blend in perfect.

I'm glad you ballsed up. Love florals on a not-so-sunny day.

I say Costa Rica or Colombia, if you're not at all limited!
