If you ran into me on the street on any given day, this is probably what I’d be wearing. My favorite skinny jeans, a top with fun details, a blazer, and a few favorite jewels to pull the look together. I mean, it’s not like I go grocery shopping in a dress that just barely covers my butt, or hooker boots (okay, maybe I’ve gone grocery shopping in the boots…). But still. The point is, sometimes you just need that backup outfit for the days you spend 45 minutes combing through your walk-in and emerge with nothing but a declaration that you have nothing to wear. For me, this is it!

[ :: Forever21+blazer (similar) :: H&M studded tank (similar) :: Torrid skinny jeans (here) :: ]
[ :: c/o Torrid heels (here) :: Forever21/H&M/SURevolution bracelets :: Coach bag (similar) :: eloquii necklace (here) :: ]

What do you guys reach for when you’re rushed or just can’t find anything to wear? πŸ˜€

    Angelic allure, Allison! This is a lovely outfit you wear here. And of course, your usual lovely hair, sweet face, and sweeter smile all compliment this look beautifully. Truly love the pumps the most here.

    It would be exactly that!! But I must admit that sometimes I just throw on some T-shirt, a jean and a pair of sneakers, it can be exhausting to look through an entire wardrobe and feeling like nothing is fitting you!
    Anyway, I love how classy,chic and simple this outfit is. I'm in love with blazers and black heels paired together!
    Good job as usual! Can't wait for the next post!! πŸ™‚

      Thank you! <3 and I agree with the tshirt/jeans combo, too! Though during summertime I stick to denim cutoffs as my basic. hehe! πŸ˜€

    OMG!! I love this causual chic post. I read so many other blogs and wonder: where is she going? It's nice to see a post about stuff that is actually worn as opposed to a chic outfit that is put together for a post. Great!

      I always wonder the same thing! I go out in most of my outfits, but in terms of what I wear daily for work/errands and all that, jeans and a blazer are pretty much my go-to! πŸ˜€

    Love this look, this would pretty much be my normal work wear outfit (unless I am meeting with clients) I really like the blazer with cute top, jeans and heels combination, a chic casual look.. I think you look really good and infact this may sound weird but I swear you look taller!

    Usually i love EVERYTHING you do… Put this seems so dark for your sunny smile and personality!! I think the blazer is A MINMAL one size too big. And maybe a matching plaid patterend purse, just to give it some style? Ilove your blog!

      Thanks for loving my other outfits! haha The blazer is actually the right size (note the placement of the shoulder seams) but since it's a boyfriend cut, it isn't as tailored to the waist as a classic blazer would be. Just a different style, so to each their own.

      As for swapping my bag, you'll never make me leave this one! hahaha It's one of my favorites!! πŸ˜€

    Pretty similar choice actually…I reach for my fave pair of skinny jeans and my blazer. A blazer just seems to dress anything up, whether you're throwing on a crisp button down beneath it or a vintage tshirt.

    Looking fabulous! My go to outfit for a more casual look always seems to be skinny jeans, ballet flats and a slouchy knot jumper if vintage cardigan πŸ™‚ x

    Hey πŸ™‚ I love this outfit. Very chic. Been reading through some other comments and disagree that the blazer is too big etc – I think that is the style and although a tailored jacket would have also looked good – I think it works because the rest of the outfit is fitted and not baggy!

    Great post πŸ™‚

    I'm still searching for my go-to outfit. I got into a yucky hoodies/sweats rut in college & now I'm trying to figure out how to be comfortable & look cute when I'm just hanging out. I love this though. You've inspired me!

    I love this outfit. It's really simple, classy and very cute. When I can't find anything to wear I usually go for cute, girly dress. Without doing too much it makes me feel feminine and pretty. Paired with a pair of high heels, I look like I tried without doing too much.
