CHARLIE BROWN SWEATER

Hellooooooo! We’re officially less than two weeks from Christmas! I’m so excited, especially since my sister will be back in town next week! Next week is also me and Thanh’s anniversary (not wedding anniversary, but our original dating anniversary, if that makes sense)! Is it weird that I still want to celebrate that one? hahaha I just feel like after that many years, that’s the one that should matter most. LOL. Anyway, I still have a ton of holiday shopping left to do. My sister, future bro-in-law, Thanh, and I had gone in on a snazzy gift for my dad on Black Friday just to find out a couple weeks later that he bought the same thing for himself during the sale! *face palm* If any of you have recommendations, let me know! Christmas just crept up so fast and now I’m in a little bit of a panic to finish shopping, lol.

This year is also *possibly* the first year we’ll be entertaining for Christmas! My parents always host since they have the most space (by a lot) but I really want to have my family over for Christmas this year, even if it’s just for Christmas Day! 😀

Anyway, enough rambling! I’m having all the Charlie Brown vibes in this super soft, nubby sweater! This sweater design isn’t something I normally go for, but once I tried it on, I knew I had to get it! I feel like photos just don’t do this sweater justice. The texture and creamy white color, accented with zigzags of black is so visually interesting and cozy at the same time. The neckline is also the ideal “turtleneck” for those of us with short necks! It’s almost like a chunky mock neck, if that makes sense. I paired it with some simple black jeans that my Stitch Fix stylist picked for me, an olive green pair of ankle boots, and my go-to Chanel Coco handle. 🙂
