MONOCHROME

Curvy Girl Chic Plus Size Fashion Blog Monochrome Carmakoma Jeans Look

You can't go wrong with black and white, especially when it's punched up with distresed details and animal print!
Black and white is one of my favorite color combos--it's always sleek, and ups the cool factor of any outfit. Carmakoma has long been one of the edgiest plus size brands out there, so when I heard they were launching a denim line, I knew I had to check it out!
I love the fit, and the designs are definitely not for the faint of heart. You won't find any plain denim here! I mean, this pair has enough distressing to make it look like I wore them in a My Cat from Hell episode but in the best way possible. The rips and frays take them from boring black to edgy and eye-catching. Paired with a chic white blazer with zipper accents and a animal print top in black and white, this look is perfect for a fun night out!

How do you rock the monochrome look? Is black and white too boring for you?

  1. This looks lovely and I just wore a monochrome look myself. I wear black and white and make it girly as I'm not very edgy. Those jeans look amazing on you Allison.

  5. Loooove monochrome. The more monochrome the better. Last summer I was challenged to wear more colour, and I did, all was well. Thing was, it didn't last long. Back to monochrome for me. Haha.
