we're just getting started

More muted than my previous color challenge outfits but I'm finding that it gets increasingly difficult to create colored outfits that don't rely on black. lol. I'm such a creature of habit.

I've worn this top on my blog here and here. I looove it. It's one of my favorite pieces ever from Asos Curve. It's floaty and comfy without sacrificing style. Also, can we talk about this clutch?! It totally fuels my love for leather and pyramid studs without being overtly rocker. I love that it's got an architectural twist--sort of reminds me of the tops of houses, all bunched together--but maybe that's just me? Whatever. haha. Plus, the quality is awesome. And it was a ridiculously good deal since it came from ideeli. Sweeeet.

Yay! Thanks to everyone who's submitted photos for the color challenge so far! :D I love what I've seen, so keep 'em coming! :D

P.S. Apologies for the lame background! It was one of those days I just couldn't get out of work in time for sunlight photos!

  2. You look beautiful as always! I really love the top, and the clutch is just fantastic. Ever since you've started the color challenge, all I've worn is gray! Haha. I'll have to figure out something colorful to wear so I can submit it to you.

  10. This must have been one of the earlier ASOS Curve items because I've never seen it before (yes I know I am about a year or 2 too late from the ASOS Curve business) and you look very amazing and pretty as a picture!

  11. I absolutely love Asos! I just wish they had actual stores vs online shopping. Great top.

  12. Bravo! I just came across your site and love your styling. One of my biggest pet peeves as I shop for plus size clothing, is the way it is merchandised. It is advertised as either frumpy and shapeless or overly sexy. Designers just can't seem to find that middle ground.

I am a plus size mom on the go who loves fashion, but wants a look that is on trend, sophisticated and well styled. Congratulations to you for achieving that.
