not exactly a light breeze

I've been stocking up like crazy on white button down shirts. They're just such easy, timeless pieces--I'm always pairing them with denim shorts and statement necklaces for what my bf refers to as my Ina Garten/vineyard look. LOL.

Anyway, I know it hasn't been that long since I posted this MK vest, but I reaaaally wanted to wear it again before it gets too warm! Of course, I was totally freezing during this photo-session since apparently that hilltop is crazy-windy. If you can't tell by my Medusa hair.

I know everyone is looking forward to Spring but are there any trends or wardrobe items from Winter that you just don't want to give up?
For me, it's oversized sweaters and my riding boots! :D

Just a little something for those of you who are still working on upping your color ante. :)

hehehe. I had way too much fun taking these photos with the boy and my bff. There's nothing quite like frolicking around a semi-deserted park acting like total idiots. :D

Anyway, this is basically my easy, do-everything I need/want to outfit.
Flats? Check. Jeans? Check. Flowy? Double-check! I topped it off with a fits-everything-under-sun bag and was done.

YAY WEEKEND. :D What are you guys up to?? Curvy Revolution? Travel? Just hanging out? :D
I might nap. Or shop. lol. I love weekends.

I spent a good half hour trying to figure out what to wear with this magenta skirt. I kept vacillating between this casual white/holey top and a Breton stripe top (also from H&M). Went with the white top for its peasant-y-ness, and because I've never worn it (even though I bought it over 6 months ago...hehe? what? it was on sale! I know, I know, BAD SHOPPER.)

Also, I meant to take photos earlier in the day but Venezuelan food got in the way. And by got in the way, I mean I wanted Venezuelan food way more than I wanted to take photos. Priorities, clearly.
Mmm, arepas. I could go for one right now. At 11:00pm. Yes, they're that good.

Color Challenge Round Up!

Hello my loves! :D

I was blown away by the number of people who wanted to participate in this color challenge--thank you guys so much! :D I really enjoyed seeing everyone's outfits! Don't be surprised if I steal some of your color mixing ideas! ;)

[Can I just say, Lilli's skirt is absolute genius, I wish I had the balls to wear colors like Frances, and Gabi is, well, Gabi (aka awesome). Also, Jeniese? Girl, that is the cutest photo ever taken.]

Everyone looks amazing! Hopefully I'll be able to make this Style Challenge idea a regular column on my blog! What do you guys think? :)

[ :: All the photos are clickable and link to their respective blogs (unless they don't have one). Enjoy! :D :: ]

P.S. If I missed anyone, I'm so sorry! I went through my spam folder and everything to make sure I got all the emails. If I don't have you up, send me an email or tweet me to let me know!

More muted than my previous color challenge outfits but I'm finding that it gets increasingly difficult to create colored outfits that don't rely on black. lol. I'm such a creature of habit.

I've worn this top on my blog here and here. I looove it. It's one of my favorite pieces ever from Asos Curve. It's floaty and comfy without sacrificing style. Also, can we talk about this clutch?! It totally fuels my love for leather and pyramid studs without being overtly rocker. I love that it's got an architectural twist--sort of reminds me of the tops of houses, all bunched together--but maybe that's just me? Whatever. haha. Plus, the quality is awesome. And it was a ridiculously good deal since it came from ideeli. Sweeeet.

Yay! Thanks to everyone who's submitted photos for the color challenge so far! :D I love what I've seen, so keep 'em coming! :D

P.S. Apologies for the lame background! It was one of those days I just couldn't get out of work in time for sunlight photos!
