Trend Spotlight: Studs!

I absolutely die for the return of this 80's trend. It's 100% tough-girl chic and I love it on everything (well...almost...and in moderation). Jewelry, bags, shoes, leggings, pants, skirts, tops, dresses...I can think of so many studded things that are currently on my wishlist! :) Just remember--always trend in moderation! Nothing ruins a trendy item like overkill.

I'm actually waiting for this in the mail...hehe. Shipping to the US is expensive at 10 pounds (UK company), but there are such cute items I think it's totally worth it! I absolutely love the exposed zipper in the back. super sexy! The only thing that kind of bugs me about this piece is that the studs don't go all the way around the bottom hem. Oh well--looking forward to wearing this baby with leggings and heels!

I love this top! It would go so well with some dark wash skinny jeans and black snakeskin flats! There is a little bit of lacing up at the top in the back, which is a nice sexy touch without being skanky!

The leather covered studs are a great touch--I also think the distressed brass hardware is a great complement. At first, hematite hardware would have been my first choice, but having seen this bag in-store, the brass is great!

ABS Studded Bangle: $75

Black resin bangle with 12kt gold accents. Chic update on the usual leather studded cuff! 3" diameter too, which means it'll actually fit most wrists! (Finally.)

Pyramid and Mesh Earrings: $8
Torrid Gold This would be so cute with any going out outfit! I like the flashiness of the mesh under the pyramids--and they're only $8! Scooooore.

So cute! I fall for anything with bows, and this is a great combo of girly and tough!

Dolce Vita Studded Over-the-knee Boots: $350 

Love these! They're a 16" calf but designed to go over the knee--I would totally wear these a little more slouchy, probably just to the knee.

Also...I saw these boots at Macy's. I can't find them anywhere online I don't know the brand or name, but I have a photo! Extra style savvy points for anyone who knows the designer and name!
